These Terms and Conditions are for Grateful Plate (Dennywald LLC dba Grateful Plate) and any orders placed utilizing external ordering platforms or services.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website and/or placing orders with Grateful Plate, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the website or place an order.
We take allergens and food safety very seriously. Please read our full Allergen Statement & Food Safety Disclaimer here, or in Sections 11-12 below.
Family Style Orders
1. Family Style Order Scheduling
1.1 Orders for the upcoming week (beginning Sunday) must be placed by the Wednesday prior at 12:00 PM EST.
1.2 For weekly subscribers: Failure to place an order by the specified deadline may result in a skip for that week. (You will not be charged for “skipped” weeks.)
2. Family Style Meal Delivery Guidelines
2.1 Meal Preparation and Food Safety:
- All meals are delivered either frozen or previously refrigerated.
- Customers MUST:
- Refrigerate items immediately upon receipt.
- Follow specific reheat instructions provided with each meal.
- Adhere to FDA food safety guidelines when storing and preparing meals.
- Failure to properly store or handle meals may compromise food safety and quality.
2.2 Delivery Requirements:
- Deliveries are conducted during a specified delivery window.
- Delivery requires IN-PERSON receipt of items.
2.3 Delivery Procedure:
- Our delivery representatives will attempt to deliver items in the following order:
- Knock on the door.
- Ring the doorbell (if available).
- Call the provided contact phone number.
- If no one is available to receive the delivery in person within 5 minutes of arrival, the delivery will be deemed UNDELIVERABLE and will not be refunded.
2.4 Undeliverable Addresses and Orders:
- If the delivery is not received in-person during the delivery window, or if the delivery address provided is determined to be undeliverable:
- Items will NOT be delivered.
- The order will NOT be refunded.
2.5 Customer Responsibility:
- Customers must ensure:
- Accurate delivery address is provided.
- A person is available to receive the delivery in person.
- Contact information is current and operational.
- Delivery instructions are clear and accessible.
3. Family Style Order Cancellation Policy
3.1 All orders must be paid in full prior to delivery. Incomplete payments will result in order cancellation.
3.2 If payment is rejected or not made in full at least three (3) days before the scheduled delivery date, the order will be cancelled. Deposits will not be refunded in the event of an event cancellation, rejected payment, or failure to pay in full.
3.3 Subscription Cancellation:
- Subscribers may cancel their recurring meal service at any time.
- Cancellations must be submitted through our bottle.com website or by emailing us at ricky@gratefulplate.co.
- Cancellation requests received by Wednesday at 12:00 PM EST will be effective for the following week’s delivery.
3.4 Individual Order Cancellation:
- Individual meal orders may be cancelled up to 5 days before the scheduled delivery date.
- Cancellations made within 5 days of the delivery date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery cannot be refunded.
3.5 Cancellation Processing:
- Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed to the original payment method.
3.6 Cancellation Limitations:
- Grateful Plate reserves the right to cancel any order or subscription:
- Due to supply chain disruptions.
- In cases of extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances.
- If payment methods become invalid.
- At any time for any reason, with or without prior notice.
- In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or credit for future orders.
4. Family Style Meal Satisfaction and Refund Policy
4.1 Customer Satisfaction:
- If you are not satisfied with a meal, you must contact Grateful Plate customer service within seven (7) days of the item’s delivery.
- Upon verification, a full refund for the specific meal will be issued.
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
5. Family Style Food Safety Guidelines
5.1 All foods must be consumed in strict accordance with FDA food safety guidelines:
- Refrigerate meals promptly upon receipt.
- Consume by the recommended “use by” date.
- Reheat to the proper internal temperature.
- Discard any meals that appear spoiled, have an unusual odor, or show signs of contamination.
Corporate Meal Orders
6. Corporate Meal Order Scheduling
6.1 Orders must be confirmed by Grateful Plate at least 7 days in advance of the event.
6.2 For weekly subscribers: Failure to place an order by the specified deadline may result in a skip for that week. (You will not be charged for “skipped” weeks.)
7. Corporate Meal Delivery Guidelines
7.1 Meal Preparation and Food Safety:
- All catering orders are prepared fresh and delivered at safe serving temperatures.
- Corporate clients MUST:
- Maintain proper food temperature.
- Adhere to FDA food safety guidelines for group food service.
- Failure to maintain proper food temperature or follow safety guidelines may compromise food safety and quality.
7.2 Delivery Timing and Requirements:
- Deliveries will occur up to one hour before the scheduled event time.
- A designated representative must be present to accept delivery.
7.3 Delivery Procedure:
- Our delivery representatives will:
- Contact the designated representative upon arrival.
- Deliver to the specified location within the building.
- Review set-up instructions with on-site contact.
- If no authorized representative is available within 15 minutes of scheduled arrival time:
- The delivery will be deemed UNDELIVERABLE.
- The order will NOT be refunded.
7.4 Undeliverable Orders:
- Orders will be considered undeliverable if:
- No authorized representative is present.
- Building access is restricted or denied.
- Delivery location is inaccessible.
- Address provided is incorrect or undeliverable.
- Undeliverable orders will NOT be refunded.
7.5 Customer Responsibility:
- Corporate Lunch clients must ensure:
- A designated representative is available during the delivery window.
- Building security is notified of delivery (if applicable).
- Loading dock/elevator access is arranged (if applicable).
- Complete delivery instructions are provided, including:
- Building access information.
- Floor/room number.
- Contact person’s name and mobile number.
- Any special security or access requirements.
8. Corporate Meal Payment and Order Confirmation
8.1 All orders must be paid in full prior to delivery. Incomplete payments will result in order cancellation.
8.2 If payment is rejected or not made in full at least seven (7) days before the scheduled delivery date, the order will be cancelled. Deposits will not be refunded in the event of an event cancellation, rejected payment, or failure to pay in full.
8.3 Individual Order Cancellation:
- Corporate Meal orders may be cancelled up to 7 days before the scheduled delivery date.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the delivery date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery cannot be refunded.

- Refunds for cancelled orders will be processed to the original payment method.
8.5 Cancellation Limitations:
- Grateful Plate reserves the right to cancel any order or subscription:
- Due to supply chain disruptions.
- In cases of extreme weather or unforeseen circumstances.
- If payment methods become invalid.
- At any time for any reason, with or without prior notice.
- In such cases, customers will receive a full refund or credit for future orders.
9. Corporate Meal Satisfaction & Refund Policy
9.1 Quality Verification and Refunds:
- The designated representative must inspect all catering items upon delivery or during setup.
- Any quality concerns or discrepancies must be reported immediately to the delivery personnel on site.
- NO refunds or credits will be issued after the delivery team has departed and the food has been accepted.
9.2 Eligible Issues for Refund:
- Missing items from confirmed order.
- Temperature issues identified at delivery.
- Visible quality concerns.
- Quantity discrepancies.
- Incorrect items delivered.
9.3 Refund Processing:
- Verified issues will result in one of the following options:
- Credit for missing items.
- Partial refund for affected portions of the order.
- Full refund only if entire order is unusable.
- All refunds will be processed to the original payment method.
9.4 Non-Refundable Circumstances:
- Claims made after the delivery team has departed.
- Issues arising from improper temperature maintenance after delivery.
- Uneaten food or overordered quantities.
10. Corporate Meal Food Safety Requirements
10.1 All catered foods must be handled in accordance with FDA food safety guidelines for food service.
10.2 The customer assumes responsibility for proper food handling once delivery is complete and accepted.
Gift Meal Package Terms and Conditions
11. Gift Package Ordering
11.1 All gift meal packages must be paid in full at the time of purchase.
11.2 The purchaser must provide accurate recipient contact information, including:
- Recipient’s full name
- Valid delivery address
- Current phone number
- Email address
- Any known dietary restrictions or preferences
12. Gift Package Delivery
12.1 The purchaser is responsible for ensuring the recipient is aware of:
- The delivery date and time window.
- The requirement for in-person receipt of items (Sections 12.3 and 12.4).
- All applicable food safety and handling requirements (Section 12.2).

12.7 Gift Package Recipient Responsibilities:
- Recipients of gift packages must comply with all delivery requirements outlined in Sections 12.3 and 12.4.
- Recipients are subject to the same undeliverable address policies detailed in Section 12.5.
- Gift package recipients must follow all food safety guidelines outlined in Section 12.2.
13. Gift Package Modifications and Cancellations:
13.1 Only the original purchaser may request modifications or cancellations to gift packages.
13.2 All orders must be paid in full prior to delivery. Incomplete payments will result in order cancellation.
13.3 If payment is rejected or not made in full at least three (3) days before the scheduled delivery date, the order will be cancelled. Deposits will not be refunded in the event of an event cancellation, rejected payment, or failure to pay in full.

14. Allergen and Food Safety Acknowledgment
14.1 The gift package purchaser or customer acknowledges that:
- They have received and reviewed the Allergen Statement and Food Safety Disclaimer.
- They are responsible for informing the recipient of these policies.
- All provisions of the Allergen Statement and Food Safety Disclaimer apply equally to gift package recipients.
- Neither the purchaser nor the recipient may hold Grateful Plate liable for any allergic reactions or food safety issues as outlined in the Allergen Statement & Food Safety Disclaimer.
15. Gift Package Expiration
15.1 Gift packages must be redeemed within 90 days of purchase.
15.2 Expired gift packages cannot be refunded or extended.
15.3 The purchaser is responsible for ensuring the recipient is aware of the expiration date.
Credits Issued for Future Orders
16. Credits Issued for Future Orders
16.1 Grateful Plate may issue a credit to be used for a future order in place of a refund.
16.2 Credits are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Any store credits not used within the 90-day period will automatically expire and cannot be refunded, transferred, or extended. Please ensure that you use your store credit within the allotted time frame to avoid forfeiture.
Allergen Statement & Food Safety Disclaimer
17. Allergen Statement
17.1 Grateful Plate recognizes the serious nature of food allergies. While we make every effort to accommodate and meet individual dietary needs, our customers must be aware of the following:
- Manufacturers may change their formulations without our knowledge.
- Our kitchen facilities are shared and handle all major allergens.
- Cross-contamination is possible.
- ALLERGENS COULD BE PRESENT IN ANY ITEMS SOLD OR PREPARED BY GRATEFUL PLATE.
17.2 By purchasing or consuming any items from or prepared by Grateful Plate, you:
- Acknowledge that you have read and understand this Allergen Statement.
- Assume full responsibility for your dietary choices.
- Agree that Grateful Plate is not liable for any allergic reactions, dietary concerns, adverse reactions, and/or side effects as a result of interacting with or consuming any Grateful Plate items.
18. Food Safety Disclaimer
18.1 Grateful Plate acknowledges the importance of food safety and nutrition. However, by purchasing or consuming any items from Grateful Plate, customers acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Grateful Plate prepares meals with the utmost care and adherence to food safety standards.
- CUSTOMERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR PROPER FOOD STORAGE, HANDLING, AND CONSUMPTION.
- Customers assume full responsibility for:
- Proper refrigeration of meals.
- Following all provided reheating instructions.
- Consuming meals within recommended time frames.
- Ensuring meals are thoroughly cooked to safe internal temperatures.
- Assessing the quality and safety of meals before consumption.
18.2 Food Safety Liability Limitations:
- Grateful Plate will not be held liable for:
- Any illness or health issues resulting from improper food handling.
- Foodborne illnesses.
- Nutritional consequences of meal consumption.
- Individual dietary reactions or sensitivities.
- Complications arising from personal food preparation methods.
19. Customer Acknowledgement
19.1 By purchasing or consuming any items from Grateful Plate, you:
- Acknowledge that you have received and reviewed the Allergen Statement and Food Safety Disclaimer.
- Accept full personal responsibility for allergens, food safety, and consumption of Grateful Plate products.
- Waive any claims against Grateful Plate related to food handling and consumption, allergies, food sensitivities, and dietary restrictions.
- Waive any right to request compensation for medical bills or expenses resulting from allergic reactions, food sensitivities, or improper food handling after delivery.
Additional Terms
20. Grateful Plate reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Current terms will always be available on our website.
21. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most recent version of these terms and conditions.
